How it works.

Combining literature-based curriculum with virtual assessment.

THE CURRICULUM

What is literature-based learning?

Literature-based means that instead of relying on a single textbook per subject, the curriculum capitalizes on a wide variety of resources: historical fiction, biographies, maps, timelines, resource books, and nonfiction. Students learn from multiple perspectives and develop empathy by walking a mile in a character’s shoes. Plus, this method is enjoyable! Kids (and parents) adore the award-winning books we include in our packages. In fact, these books build a cherished home library of titles families simply can’t part with.

Thus BookShark Virtual is an excellent option for parents who are working from home or are teaching multiple children. With the support of the online interface, children know what to do next and have a place to upload their assignments until the teacher or parent can check them.
